Television public affairs program with hosts Warren Davis, Patrick Watson, and John Saywell.~Watson reports on the outcome of a riot at Montreal's Sir George Williams' University where a group of black students have occupied the computer center in protest against racial discrimination. Watson and Saywell meet two computer scientists from the university, Professor Roly Wills and Professor André Noble to discuss the remaining conflict between black students and the university's administration department.~Satirical cigarette commercials prompted by a threatened ban on television cigarette advertisements.~Saywell and Watson discuss the results of the current federal-provincial conference in Canada.~Story about Canadian students masquerading as U.S. army deserters and being refused entrance to Canada, leads to a brief skit about a Loyalist being denied entry into Canada in 1776.~Brief history on racism in America illustrated through archival paintings, photos and footage showing scenes of Indians being driven off their land by early white settlers; black slaves working in plantation fields; black ghettoes in northern cities; street riots; and police violence against blacks. Extensive interview with Floyd B. McKissick (black american leader and one of the founders of the proposed "Soul City") and Sidney M. Willhelm (white sociologist and author of "What's the Use of a Negro?") on racism in America and the future of blacks in a racist society.~Indian folksinger, Buffy Sainte-Marie sings "My Country Tis of Thy People You're Dying".
