File Part 3A consists of press release drafts and notes covering the transfer of the operation of residence and classrooms at Blue Quills School (AB) to Blue Quills Native Education Council, as well as oil and gas exploration activities at Banks Island NWT. Part 3A also consists of press release drafts covering housing construction contracts at Schefferville, Mashteuiatsh (Pointe-Bleue), and Wemotaci (Weymontachie); bridge construction at Tyendinaga; road reconstruction at Akwesasne (formerly St. Regis); sewers and water mains at Rankin reserve (Batchewana First Nation); bridge construction at Pic Mobert First Nation near Chapleau, and contract for building additions at residential school in Prince Albert (SK). File Part 3A further consists of press release drafts covering Inuit rights to quarry soapstone for carving, and migratory bird hunting regulations by province.

File Part 3B consists of press releases drafts and notes covering the lifesaving award awarded to Johnny Jackson (Teslin Tinglit of Brook's Brook), the Longboat Trophy awarded to Kenneth Montour (Delaware of Six Nations), and work on Dempster Highway as part of Northern Roads Program.
