The panel discussion on "The Meaning of Conservatism" begins with a presentation by George Hogan who speaks on the conservative principle of liberty. Egen Chambers, past-president of the Progressive Conservative Association, talks about Canadian conservatism followed by Senator Wallace McCutcheon who offers his philosophical view of conservatism. MP Gordon Fairweather makes the last presentation, in which he outlines conservative goals for reform.
