Public Affairs Division : The Public Affairs Division planned, coordinated, advised, implemented and evaluated EIC activities in the areas of communications planning, internal communications, issues management, public opinion research, promotion, information, media relations, publishing and advertising. Its major junction was to inform the public about EIC's Immigration, Unemployment and Insurance and Employment programs and services. The Public Affairs Division consisted of the following directorates: Corporate Affairs; Employment Information; Immigration Information; Information Services; Unemployment Insurance Information; and Youth Information.
