Canada. Manpower Information and Analysis Branch : Created in 1967, the Manpower Information and Analysis Branch was organized to provide comprehensive information and analysis service of current and prospective manpower and labour market conditions. It directed and coordinated the work of regional and area manpower analysts. It also accumulated, coordinated, analysed and distributed detailed current information on the supply, utilization, characteristics, training and demand for all categories of manpower. As part of its duties, the Manpower Information and Analysis Branch published information on the state of the labour market on a national, regional, and local level in the form of monthly District Manpower Bulletins, Regional Manpower Reviews, and more comprehensive studies of significant national developments.
