The sub-series consists of records created and maintained by the London and Port Stanley Railway. In 1916 the Board of Railway Commissioners authorized all Canadian railways to increase their rates for hauling coal by 10%. This led to a dispute between the Grand Trunk and the London and Port Stanley Railways over switching and interchange facilities in order to take advantage of the revenue generated by this increase. The records include correspondence, plans, legal documents and a transcript of the hearing before the Board of Railway Commissioners.
