The sub-series consists of records created and maintained by the London and Port Stanley Railway. The agreement signed with the Michigan Central Railroad in 1915 provided for a review of rates at the end of five years. The London and Port Stanley Railway considered that the rates it obtained for handling Michigan Central cars were too low and appealed to the Board of Railway Commissioners for confirmation. These records consist of: data and background material assembled by the London and Port Stanley to support its case; the transcript of the hearing before the Board of Railway Commissioners on 19 December 1921; the report of the Board of Railway Commissioners' investigator dated 5 July 1922.
