Canadian National Express Company : Canadian National Express Company was formed when the Canadian Northern Express Company was renamed under Order in Council (P.C. 1989, 18 October 1919). Under an agreement signed on 1 September 1921, Canadian National Express Company took over the operations of the Grand Trunk Owned Canadian Express Company. This continued until, under an agreement dated 30 June 1924, the property and operations of both companies were entrusted to the Canadian National Railway Company for management and operation as a department of the railway.
P.C. 1956-772 (May 17) Approves amalgamation with Canadian National Railway Company.
