St. Boniface Western Land Company : The St. Boniface Western Land Company was incorporated on 26 June 1907 under Manitoba Letters Patent in order to acquire land adjacent to Canadian Northern Railway lines in St. Boniface for terminal and industrial development. The stock was acquired by nominees of Mackenzie and Mann, who immediately transferred it to the Canadian Northern Railway. In 1944 the remaining unsold land was transferred to Canadian National Realties, Ltd. and on 15 December 1955, after the liquidation of its obligations and the disposal of all its assets the St. Boniface Western Land Company was dissolved.
