Continental Realty and Holding Company : The Continental Realty and Holding Company was incorporated on 23 May 1922 under the laws of the state of Maine as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Northern. It was incorporated in order to acquire the stock of the Duluth and Virginia Realty Company thus avoiding the prohibition under Minnesota law of foreign ownership of the latter company's stock. Ownership of the Maine company passed to Canadian Northern Realties, Limited on 28 June 1922. On the same day it acquired the stock of the Duluth and Virginia Realty Company. On 21 March 1949 after liquidation of its obligations and disposal of its assets the Continental Realty and Holding Company was dissolved. RG30 General Inventory
