Davidson and McRae (Firm) : The firm of Davidson and Mcrae, headed by Colonel A.D. Davidson and A.D. McRae, principle promoters of the Saskatchewan Valley and Manitoba Land Company, acted as general agents for the Canadian Northern and Mackenzie and Mann in the sale of lands, town sites and properties, in addition to promoting the growth of industries and immigration along Canadian Northern lines. While not directly part of the Canadian Northern system, so closely were Davidson and McRae involved with it that some of their records were held by the Canadian Northern. RG30 General Inventory
