Imperial Rolling Stock Company : The Imperial Rolling Stock Company Limited was incorporated by Ontario Letters Patent of Ontario on 12 March 1902. The majority of the capital stock was held by Mackenzie and Mann. The company was formed in order to provide rolling stock for the Canadian Northern Railway by purchasing it from manufacturers or other railways and leasing it with an agreement to purchase by time payments to the Canadian Northern. The ownership of the majority of the capital stock was transferred, to the Canadian Northern Railway in 1919 and, on 15 April 1929, the charter of the Imperial Rolling Stock Company Limited was surrendered.
