Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Railway Company : The Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Railway Company was incorporated under Dominion Act, 3 Edward VII, Cap. 178 of 28 October 1903 to build a line from near Quebec City to the Maritime provinces. It was intended to be the Mackenzie and Mann/Canadian Northern main Quebec/ Maritime line if such construction became necessary. In the event, only a 91.01 mile railway from Garneau on the Great Northern Railway of Canada to Quebec City was constructed under this charter. On 19 July 1906 the Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Railway Company amalgamated with two others to form the Canadian Northern Quebec Railway Company. RG30 General Inventory
