Southern New England Railroad Corporation (1911-1932) : The Southern New England Railroad Corporation was incorporated on 3 August 1911 under the laws of the state of Massachusetts to extend, in conjunction with the Southern New England Railway Company, the Central Vermont system south to a terminal in Providence, Rhode Island. It was intended to construct a 58.13 rail line from Palmer, Massachusetts, to the Massachusetts/Rhode Island border. The construction started in May 1912 and was nearing completion on 12 November when construction was suspended and never resumed. The company's charter expired on 20 May 1932. RG30 General Inventory
