Two photographs of Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King inspecting the guard of honour at No. 4 S.F.T.S. [Service Flying Training School], Saskatoon, Sask., summer 1941. The arrow points to John Edwards. One of the two photographs (identified in the negative as RCAF GX399) shows, in the near foreground, two photographers in the process of taking photographs of the inspection; the other photograph is the image which one of these two photographers was taking, at that moment.

Cenotaph at Squerryes Court, Westerham, England, commemorating James Wolfe, a friend of George Warde, the proprietor of the Court. On the Cenotaph is the inscription: "Here first was Wolfe/With martial ardour fired/Here first with glory's/Brightest flame inspired/This spot so sacred will forever claim/A proud alliance with its hero's name." And, below: "Sacred to the memory of Major-General James Wolfe who, to his own immortal honour and the signal and lasting benefit of Great Britain, during the glorious reign of George II, by the direction of an able, wise and vigorous administration under uncommon difficulties of art and nature, with great foresight, undaunted courage and unshaken constancy, planned, attempted and completed the reduction of Quebec the 13th of September 1759 at the expense of his life."
