Grand Rapids Terminal Railroad Company : The Grand Rapids Terminal Railroad Company was incorporated on 13 August 1904 under the laws of the state of Michigan to build rail and terminal facilities giving the industries of the city of Grand Rapids access to the main line of the Detroit, Grand Haven and Milwaukee Railway. The main line of 1.51 miles was opened for traffic in January 1906. On 27 October 1908 the line was leased to Detroit, Grand Haven and Milwaukee Railway. On 1 November 1908 the Grand Rapids Terminal Railroad Company amalgamated with nine other companies to form the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company. RG30 General Inventory
