Detroit and Toledo Shore Line Railroad Company : On 14 April 1899 the name of the Pleasant Bay Railway Company was changed to the Detroit and Toledo Shore Line Railroad Company. It experienced financial difficulties and passed into receivership on 8 January 1902. On 5 December 1902 it was sold to the Grand Trunk Western Railway and the Toledo, St. Louis and Western Railroad. The line was converted to steam operation and now owns or has running rights over 50.24 miles of tracks between Toledo and Detroit. It provides freight and connecting services. Its stock is now owned by the corporate successors of the two original owners; 50% by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad and 50% by the New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad. RG30 General Inventory
