Ontario and Pacific Junction Railway Company : The Ontario and Pacific Junction Railway Company was incorporated in 1874 (37 Vic., Cap. 74) to build a railway from Georgian Bay to Lake Nipissing, with power to extend south to connect with other railways. The object appears to have been to connect various Ontario railways with the eastern terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The first shareholders meeting was in January 1880, and in 1885, Joseph Hickson, manager of the Grand Trunk, was elected president. There appears to have been no major construction, and the last recorded meeting was held on 3 February 1886. RG30 General Inventory
