Canadian National Committee for the International Hydrological Decade : The Canadian National Committee - International Hydrological Decade project was developed by UNESCO as a means of standardizing methodology and concentrating international effort on the study of hydrology. The project's first phase spanned the period 1965 to 1974. The International Hydrologic Program has followed the I.H.D. GARDD accession 1984-85/126
