Subseries contains administrative and operational records pertaining to the movement of lumber by the ICO. Timber records document the amount of wood which passed through ICO works, and other activities associated with its delivery to the lumber companies. Records include logbooks and footage files, copies of timber marks, as well as correspondence regarding log inspection and stray logs. Also included in the subseries are the timebooks and work registers for camps and depots including Mountain Camp, Fort William Boom, and Chenaux Boom. Marine records provide information on boats, steamers and tugs operated by the ICO to facilitate the movement of the logs. Additional records relating to ICO boats and steamers are located in the Dormant and Sundry Files subseries.
