This sub-series contains both textual and electronic records.

The textual records contain: Correspondence, memoranda, notes and related material, 1983-1992, of senior staff and advisors, including: Ian Anderson, Director of Communications, 1984-1985, and Principal Secretary, 1985-1987; Dalton Camp, long time friend of Mulroney and Senior Advisor to Cabinet, 1988-1989; Bob Grauer, who assisted Chief of Staff Norman Spector, 1990; L.(Liam) Ian MacDonald, who was associated with the PMO Communications Office, 1986-1988; Charles McMillan, Senior Advisor to Brian Mulroney, 1983-1987; Geoff Norquay, who served in the PMO, first as Director of Policy and Development and then as Special Advisor (Policy and Planning), 1986-1987; Tom Van Dusen, who served in the PMO as Legislative Assistant, 1985-1987, and Special Assistant (Caucus Liaison), 1988-1990, and continued to serve as a speech writer and adviser, 1990-1992; Peter White, Special Assistant (Appointments), 1984-1986, and Principal Secretary, 1988-1989; and Sharon Wolfe, who served as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on women's issues, 1986-1988 (Volumes 1-6).

The electronic records were created in the offices of Denis Jolette, Brian Ward, Geoff Norquay, Luciana Jovanovic and Paul Terrien. They contain briefing notes to the Prime Minister (on issues and countries to be visited), questions to be raised in the House of Commons, correspondence, memos to the PM, speech notes, and transcripts of interviews and scrums (Volume 7).
