The sub-series consists of records created and accumulated by Harry Sutherland while judging and organizing international exhibitions both by his personal involvement and in conjunction with the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada. Harry Sutherland was vice-chairman of CAPEX '78, CAPEX'87, and CAPEX '96, as well as Director of International Affairs for the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada. He was responsible for organizing exhibits, ordering medals, answering queries, making reports, and selecting juries. These records include files of various international exhibitions, with correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, brochures, itineraries, travel information, and exhibit lists. There are also records that document CAPEX '78, CAPEX '87, CAPEX '96, forgeries and the selection of international philately juries. These files include correspondence, minutes of meetings, and exhibit files.
