Canada. Parliament. House of Commons. Special Committee on War Expenditures : The Special Committee on War Expenditures was first established 5 March 1941 and was reappointed at successive sessions of Parliament until 1946. The Committee consisted of 24 members of parliament and was established to "examine the expenditures defrayed out of moneys provided by parliament for the defence services, and for other services directly connected to the war." The committee's final report was presented to Parliament 17 August 1946 and recommended the disposal of surplus war assets through the War Assets Corporation. 1941-1946 Journals of the House of Commons
