Canada. Parliament. House of Commons. Special Committee on a National Trading Corporation : The Special Committee on a National Trading Corporation was established 12 June 1980 to consider how a national trading company could improve Canada's export performance and to make recommendations regarding the functions and form of such a company. The Committee was chaired by Jesse Flis and consisted of seven members of Parliament. The Committee's fourth and final report was presented to the House 22 June 1981 and included the recommendation that the Government sponsor the development of a Canadian Trading Corporation. 1981 Journals of the House of Commons
