The series consists of records created and accumulated by George A. Gundersen while working as a designer at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in the United States of America. These philatelic items include blocks, panes and proofs of postage stamps produced at the Bureau when Gundersen was working there. Many of these stamps Gundersen himself participated in the design process and bear his and the other designers signatures. All of the postage stamps in this series were issued by the U.S. postal service.
