The accession consists of some portraits of Evelyn Lambart and members of her family at their home Vine Lynne, 7 Rideau Gate, Ottawa, Ont.; family summer vacation at Blue Sea Lake, Cedar Lake, Lake Bernard, Farmers Rapids; trips to Belleville, Niagara Falls, Carbald Springs, Ottawa vicinity, Toronto, Guelph, Kingston, Wakefield, Quebec City and Murray Bay between 1928 and 1948; National Film Board animation department members include Norman McLaren, George Dunning, Grant Munro and Evelyn Lambart between 1943 and 1948 shooting their short animated films at NFB studios; photos of Evelyn helping Alan Beddoe illuminate Canada's Book of Remembrance, Experimental Farm, Ottawa, 1942; photos of Norman McLaren working at the animation department of the NFB, 1943-1948; series of colour slides of her animated film "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse" NFB, 1980; series of colour slides (1982-1984) showing appliqué and wool embroidery works by Evelyn Lambart; series of colour slides of her garden by herself (1974-1990) and by Freeman Patterson, Sutton, 1989.
The textual records consist of additional material relating to Evelyn Lambart, including calendars, a cumulative journal kept by her from 1978 until her death, a record of correspondence, a document by Norman McLaren, two pages of storyboard for "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse", a notebook, photocopies of pages from a guest book commenting on a Lambart film retrospective 1993, and other material.
