Sub-series consists of claims of Grand River lands arising out of leases granted by Joseph Brant and other Six Nations Indians. Over 200 claims under these leases were dealt with by a commission of trustees appointed in 1834. Volume 762 serves as an index to volume 105. Volume 1854 contains 84 individual documents related to the Brant leases, 1819-1830 and several documents involving the St. Regis Indians.
