Sub-series consists of a small number of miscellaneous land-related records relating to Upper Canada/Canada West including land grants and correspondence. This sub-series also contains an entry book recording copies of the texts of various land agreements and indentures. Most relate to lands in Lower Canada/Canada East (St. Regis lands in Dundee, Abenaki lands in Durham and St. François, lands in the siegneury of Sillery and the Quarante Arpents tract of the Hurons of Lorette). Other documents in the entry book include a copy of an 1826 provisional agreement between the Chippewas and James Givins; an extract of a treaty made at New York, 1796; and answers to questions proposed by the Committee of the Executive Council, Lower Canada, describing conditions of the several tribes, 1836.
