This sub-series consists of memos, correspondence and presentation kit dealing with the Canadian Tourism Medal for outstanding contribution to the tourist industry. Most of the files, consisting of reports, briefings, memos and clippings, deal with a specific tourist site/program/activity, (such as Parc Saguenay, Arctic Marine Wildlife Tours, Chutes Montmorency, Rivieres des Prairies and so on); much of the material deals with matters of promotion and requests for development aid.

The final element in this sub-series is the correspondence-tracking computer print-out from McMillan's office while he was minister of state for tourism. There are actually four aggregate dumps (print-outs): tracking by organization, by subject, by name of correspondent and by reference number. While the latter is of little probable use, the other three tracking criteria could have substantial historical/research utility.
