Accession consists of files pertaining to the operations of the Winnipeg Central Region Office of the Atmospheric Environment Service and various weather stations in Manitoba and the North West Territories. The files relate to a variety of subjects including, but not limited, to the orgnaization of various weather stations in Manitoba and the North West Territories, and various studies and projects, such as the Arctic Pipelines Study, Strathcona Sound (Nanisivik) Project, the Little Cornwallis (Arvik) Project, and the Central Region Severe Weather Project, etc. Files are arranged numerically as per departmental subject file classification system.
