Hochelaga Cotton Manufacturing Co : The Hochelaga Cotton Manufacturing Company was established by Andrew F. Gault in 1884-1885. The new company was the product of Gault's merging the V. Hudon Cotton Mills Company and La Compagnie de filature Sainte-Anne. The company manufactured grey cotton cloth in the Hochelaga and St. Ann's mills for the Canadian and Chinese markets. In 1889, the company purchased the Magog Textile and Print Company, integrating the finishing process into its textile production line. In 1890, the Hochelaga Cotton Manufacturing Co. merged into the Dominion Cotton Mills Company.
