Description:

Interview of Freddy Conway of Des Joachims, Quebec who worked for 57 years in the Ottawa Valley as a lumberman and trapper. Conway talks about his early life as a Bernardo boy in London, England and his arival in Canada at the age of nine after an arduous sea voyage in 1915. Conway recalls stories of the many colourful characters he encountered during a lifetime in the bush in the Valley.
