Editorial by news director, Nick Bowdidge, defends the neutrality of Sudbury Mayor Fabbro as chairman of the meeting of women at the Sudbury Arena, and states CHNO's position that the meeting was proof that families of strikers no longer wish the strike to continue and are willing to accept Inco's last offer since the company's letter had clarified matters of seniority and the 40-hour work week. Bowdidge states that Inco can fairly claim it didn't pick this fight, because it is the union which decided to go out on strike.
