Wartime Food Corporation (Canada) : The Wartime Food Corporation was established as an ancillary body to the Wartime Prices and Trade Board on 17 December 1941. This Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Commodity Prices Stabilization Corporation, was formed to carry out that portion of the CPSC's responsibilities concerning cattle. The Corporation was transformed into the Canadian Sugar Stabilization Corporation on 28 January 1947. However, this Corporation ceased operations and passed out of existence in November 1950.
