Canada. Wartime Prices and Trade Board. Foods Administration : The Foods Administration was established to assist in the organization of supply and the anticipation and prevention of shortages. The coordinator was the direct contact between the Board and the related administrations, industries, trades, and services under its jurisdiction. He was responsible to the Board and all orders he issued required the approval and counter signature of the Chairman. F.S. Grisdale was successively Deputy Coordinator and Coordinator of the Foods Administration. The related administrations that were under the jurisdiction of the Foods Administration were: Alcoholic Beverages; Bread and Bakery Products; Cocoa, Confectionery, and Allied Products; Dairy Products; Feeds; Fertilizers and Pesticides; Fish and Fish Products; Flour and Cereal Products; Fresh Fruits and Vegetables; Imported Grocery Items; Meat and Meat Products; Oils and Fats; Pharmaceuticals; Processed Fruits and Vegetables; Seeds; Sugar; Tea and Coffee; and Tobacco.
