Sub-series consists of central registry files created and/or maintained by the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Branch. The records are samples of construction contract files with respect to the purchase of various items of equipment to be used in the Warsak Hydro-Electric Project - a bilateral assistance programme between Canada and Pakistan for the construction and equipment of a dam and power generating station in the latter's northwest frontier. The sub-series includes applications for approval relating to the Warsak project for the years 1955 (Volumes 1-3) and 1958 (Volumes 4-7).
