Canada. Forces armées canadiennes. Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada. Bataillon, 2e : Après la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, le régiment The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment of Canada) a fourni une compagnie au 1er Canadian Highland Battalion lorsque les Forces canadiennes sont retournées en Europe en 1951, pour y servir avec le Contingent canadien de l'OTAN. Le 10 avril 1952, le Régiment a de nouveau fourni une compagnie au 2e Canadian Highland Battallion. Le 16 octobre 1953, ces deux bataillons réguliers ont été rebaptisés 1er et 2e Bataillons, The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada. À la Milice, elle a été rebaptisée 3e Bataillon, The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada. Un Dépôt du Régiment pour les bataillons réguliers a aussi été autorisé le 16 octobre 1953. Après plusieurs affectations en Europe, les trois régiments réguliers du Black Watch ont été retirés de l'Ordre de bataille régulier en 1969. Un seul bataillon est demeuré comme unité de la Milice stationnée à Montréal.
