The "G" War Series of CAB 24, Cabinet Memoranda, volumes 1 to 5, consists of printed papers, 1915-1916, for the War Council of Great Britain. It includes printed papers of the Dardanelles Committee and the War Committee, as well as a few reports circulated after 1916. Among the topics discussed are: the Dardanelles, the Balkans, the Serbian army, machine guns, Mesopotamia, India, the Middle East, the conduct of war, Russia and Constantinople, the Levant, offensive operations on the Western front, military and naval policy, mercantile shipping, the supply of guns, howitzers and artillery ammunition to the Russian army, Swedish intervention, duties of the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Flying Corps, food supplies, etc.

The "G" War Series of CAB 24 is located on microfilm reels B-4342 to B-4348.
