Goldberg, Simon A. (Simon Abraham), 1914-1985 : Simon Abraham Goldberg joined the Dominion Bureau of Statistics at the end of the second world war as a National Income Statistician. In 1950, he became Director of the Research and Development Division and in 1954 the Assistant Dominion Statistician, Integration. In 1967, Goldberg's role changed slightly as he became Assistant Dominion Statistician, Integration and Development Staff. He served in this role until 1972, when he became the Director of the United Nations Statistical Office.
