The series consists of files on both realized and unrealized film projects by Peter Pearson. Included are files on projects with the CBC and the National Film Board, as well as independent projects.

The series includes material on the following projects, among others: 'This Hour has seven days'; 'Saul Alinsky went to war'; 'Best damn fiddler from Calabogie to Kaladar'; 'Seasons in the mind'; a proposed adaptation of Sinclair Ross's 'As for me and my house', with script by Graeme Gibson; 'Paperback hero'; an episode of 'The Beachcombers'; 'Only God knows'; a proposed adaptation of Marie-Claire Blais's 'Mad shadows', with script by Margaret Atwood; 'Along these lines'; a proposed film 'The Year the Indians won the pennant', script by Pearson; various Olympic '76 proposals; 'Kathy Karuks is a grizzly bear', 'The Insurance man from Ingersoll' and 'Snowbird', with script co-written by Margaret Atwood, for 'For the record'; 'One man'; a proposed adaptation of Ian Adam's 'S, portrait of a spy'; two episodes of 'Sidestreet'; 'Heaven on earth' (originally called 'Odyssey of the children'), with script co-written by Margaret Atwood; 'Fly away Paul'; 'The Chairman: a portrait of Paul Desmarais'; two episodes of 'The Littlest hobo' and one of 'Tales of the Klondike'; and a proposed adaptation of Margaret Atwood's 'Life before man'.
