Disadvantaged Women : The Interdepartmental Committee was to be responsible for the global examination of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women and the drafting of policy guidelines for the consideration of Cabinet. The Interdepartmental Committee was constituted of representatives from departments and agencies whose mandates were directly affected by the recommendations of the Report. Five working parties were attached to the Interdepartmenal Committee, which includes Working Party 5 - Disadvantaged Women. The police areas with which each Working Party dealt related to recommendations found in specific chapters of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women.
