Public Service Commission of Canada. Audit Branch : The Audit Branch, established in 1976, conducts audits of delegated and non-delegated staffing activities to assess consistency with PSC regulations. In 1991 the Audit Branch became the Audit and Review Branch. The function was reconstituted in 1999 as a component of the Policy, Research and Communication Branch (PRCB). Successive internal reorganizations have left the staffing audit, human resources audit and internal audit/program evaluation activities integrated on a functional basis. The evolving series reflects all three activities and related records.
