Sub-series consists of correspondence between Alexander Tilloch Galt, the Canadian High Commissioner in London, and the Department of Finance relating mainly to matters of minting, loans and tariff. Included is a return from the Department to an Order of the House of Commons for copies of reports and despatches from the High Commissioner in London. Also included is correspondence with the Master of the visit in London.
