Photographic material created by Roloff Beny during his trip to Nepal. This subseries is comprised of pictorial views of the landscape of Nepal,images of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas, holy temples and shrines including the Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the most holy Buddhist shrines, the temple at Bhad Gaon, the Boudnath Stupa, the Pashupatinpith temple and many small roadside shrines to the god, Kali. Includes documentary images of the inhabitants of the country.
