Accession consists of 1 First World War Next-of-Kin Memorial plaque; 2 other associated plaques of Italian origin; 21 portrait medals depicting such people as Georges P. Vanier, Albert Schweitzer, Leo Tolstoi, John F. Kennedy, Molière and Ludwig van Beethoven; 4 U.S.A. Society of Medalists medals; 29 other medals from a variety of countries representing events such as Dora de Pédery-Hunt's 65th birthday, the visit of Alexander I of Russia to Paris (1814) as well as the 20th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary's ascent of Mount Everest (1973). Medal artists include Helen Maday, Ralph J. Menconi, Huguenin, Jean Vernon, Adolph Block, Bruno Mankowski and Donald Richard Miller.
