Sub-sub-series consists of correspondence and other memorabilia on the centenary of the Old Welland Canal. These items were probably part of Alex J. Grant's papers. A.J. Grant was the Chief Engineer of the New Welland Ship Canal during this period. Four photos of the unveiling of the Allanburg Cairn commemorating the centenary have been transferred to the Visual and Sound Archives Division.
