This subseries contains a wide variety of documentation, very little of it relating to Fraser`s career as Executive Assistant to the Minister of Fisheries. The subseries includes a scrapbook of press clippings about Sinclair`s trip to the Soviet Union in 1955 and a second scrapbook documenting Fraser's candidacy in the 1957 federal election. There are subject files on the St. Lawrence Seaway, an oyster farm owned by Fraser`s aunt, as well as material relating to Liberal Party activities in British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Ontario. The correspondence files include family correspondence and memorabilia, a few letter pertaining to Fraser's 1957 election campaign and other political matters. Fraser continued to add letters to these correspondence files throughout his career.
