Fonds consists of two photographs depicting George Fanais, a Canadian artist with the British American Bank Note Co. (Ottawa) at the Ottawa River cabin (summer home) of Ada Wrong, an art teacher at Assumption Street School in Windsor. The photographs were taken by Sybil Watts Smith, a student of Miss Wrong.

Smith, Sybil Watts, 1923- : Sybil Watts Smith was born in Windsor, Ontario, on December 27th, 1923, the third child and only daughter of Albert William and Barbara Henden Watts. In 1951, after seven years as a reporter, feature writer, and book reviewer for The Windsor Daily Star and member of the Canadian Women's Press Club, she married U.S. Vice-Consul Levi P. Smith, Jr., and became a U.S. citizen. They moved to his home in Burlington, Vermont, in 1953. They have four children and six grandchildren.

For many years she has been a library volunteer. From 1972 through 1979 she served as Executive Director of the Vermont Council on World Affairs. In 1985 she received the Clara Barton Award for Meritorious Volunteer Leadership from the American Red Cross for her work in International Services, establishing and promoting International Language Banks. She is Volunteer Archivist of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Burlington and is the family archivist of Civil War and other materials. Writing continues to be an important part of her life. Recently produced especially for her young are "Myself When Young" about growing up in Southwestern Ontario and "Looking Back 50 years", a chronicle of memories and writings as a Canadian journalist, both illustrated with photographs.
