Sub-series consists of a register that documents the reports on bills by the Supreme Court. Upon the establishment of the Supreme Court, it was decided that in addition to hearing cases in appeal, the Justices could also be called upon to render their opinions on the constitutionality of laws at all levels of government; this is known as the 'reference' function.

The reports are opinions that the Justices provided in response to references. Some of these references concern the advisability of passing pending legislation while others ask the Justices' opinion on the applicability or enforcement of existing laws under certain circumstances. The text of the legislation under question is sometimes included in the reports. When reasons are given by the Justices, they are copied out in full. This volume includes an index that is an alphabetical listing of both the titles of bills and acts, and the subject of legal
issues under discussion by the Justices.
