These volumes provide short summaries of the judgement given for each case. The headings provide the date, the names of the Justices present, and the parties. The text of the judgements names the lower court appealed from, the date the case was heard there, and the date the case was heard at Supreme Court of Canada. It then indicates which party the judgement favoured, through orders naming the decision to allow or dismiss the appeal, and its determination of costs. No details of the cases are given. Occasional entries are motions to quash the appeal rather than judgements delivered. The books are indexed alphabetically, usually by the appellant's name.
